Purple Pound – we love accessible places!

We have written, produced and filmed this fun, catchy, feel-good song and video. It captures what Access Fylde Coast is all about; just look how happy everyone is and what a great time they are having!

Everyone starring in the video has a visible and non-visible disability to show we are all the same and spread a bit of love across the community, UK and (fingers crossed!) world this Valentines Day!

The companies that we filmed at include Artisan Tiles, Blackpool Transport (the workers shown are from Project SEARCH an amazing charity that works with organisations in the UK to help people with learning disabilities find work), Devon Hair & Beauty and Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool; Clarity Opticians, Health and Harmony Singing Group and Men’s Shed in Fleetwood. We also show the fabulous Fylde Coast Guide dogs meeting on Lytham Green and lots of the beautiful Fylde Coast.

They have all taken on board our accessibility guidance and are shining examples of how ALL companies, businesses and services should be!

Accessibility means that everyone has access to more enjoyment in life; doesn’t every person deserve that?

Help us spread the love for accessible places! Watch, Like, Share our Song…Let’s spread the love far and wide!
